Custom Design

"What I love most about the home is that the materials are all natural – either wood or stone.” - Owner

Enter into the Grand Lobby where the window view's capture your gaze and send you daydreaming. Overlooking the lagoon and waterfall, there are many places to unwind and enjoy conversation, read a favorite novel, or perhaps relish in doing nothing at all. The Grand Lobby mimics the stone covered mountains with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace complemented by walls of windows that invite the outside in. This expansive space is lit by a custom chandelier (created by a boutique lighting company out of Colorado) that offers a rustic, mountain feel. The oversized fireplace is encased in natural rock, fitting for this home. While in the lobby, look up to encounter a hand carved artists' rendering of a beautiful outdoor scene. Envisioned by the owner, the one-of-a-kind custom spiral staircase brings the feel of the forest into the home, met by Hickory hardwood flooring in each room. The tree that the cedar risers are supported on is over 400 years old! Over 100 trees imported from British Columbia went into the making of Tumble Creek Lodge.

Culinary Delights

"The only drywall is in a small utility close in the garage, but even the garage is made entirely of logs." - Owner

A day of adventuring calls for an evening to dine and gather in the open kitchen with granite countertops, a breakfast bar, stainless steel appliances and a gas range stovetop for culinary creations. The kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances by Viking and GE Monogram. Other features include granite countertops, slate flooring, A/V hookups ready for a flat screen TV, and a flush mount speaker with in-wall controls. True to the home's thoughtfulness in details, the kitchen has its own half-bathroom and laundry facility.

Step outside through the series of four sets of French doors that open up the wall of the kitchen to the outdoor living area and patio, leading the way to fireside gatherings. The covered, fully equipped outdoor kitchen features a Viking oversized gas grill and fire pit perfect for summer s'mores set against the backdrop of the creek that winds over a 15' waterfall into the massive swimming lagoon.
